1. Educational Services

Advanced Reading Course provides reading instruction and academic enrichment services for students, including live online instruction.

The specific format, schedule, duration, curriculum, pricing, and included materials for an offering will be described on the website, enrollment materials, or other written communication provided before enrollment.

Course offerings may include individual instruction and small-group instruction.

2. Educational Purpose

ARC is an educational enrichment program.

The course is designed to help students develop stronger reading comprehension, analytical reading, evidence-based reasoning, and related academic skills.

ARC is not a school, accredited educational institution, college admissions service, or testing agency.

References to standardized tests such as the SAT or ACT describe academic skills that may be relevant to those assessments. ARC is not affiliated with or endorsed by the organizations that administer those tests unless expressly stated otherwise.

3. No Guarantee of Academic Results

Student progress depends on many factors, including participation, effort, attendance, prior skills, and continued practice.

We do not guarantee:

• a particular grade;
• standardized-test score;
• school admission;
• academic placement;
• reading-level increase;
• or any other specific educational outcome.

Examples of potential benefits described on the website are educational goals, not guarantees of individual results.

4. Enrollment and Parent or Guardian Responsibility

Enrollment of a minor must be completed or authorized by a parent or guardian.

Parents or guardians are responsible for providing accurate information relevant to enrollment, scheduling, and communication.

Parents or guardians are also responsible for ensuring that students have reasonable access to the technology and materials needed for live online instruction.

5. Course Format and Scheduling

ARC classes may be conducted online using video-conferencing or other educational technology.

Specific meeting times are arranged separately.

Schedules may occasionally need to be changed because of instructor availability, technology issues, emergencies, holidays, or other reasonable circumstances.

If ARC needs to reschedule a class, reasonable efforts will be made to provide an alternative meeting time.

6. Student Participation

Students are expected to:

• attend lessons on time;
• participate appropriately;
• treat the instructor and other students respectfully;
• make a reasonable effort to complete assigned activities;
• use course materials only for their intended educational purpose.

For small-group instruction, disruptive or inappropriate behavior that materially interferes with other students’ ability to learn may result in communication with the parent or guardian and, when reasonably necessary, removal from a class or program.

7. Pricing and Payment

Current pricing is displayed on the website or communicated to the parent or guardian before enrollment.

Prices and course offerings may change in the future, but a later price change will not retroactively change the agreed price for a course already purchased unless otherwise agreed.

Any applicable payment schedule will be provided before purchase or enrollment.

8. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds

Any cancellation, rescheduling, make-up lesson, or refund terms provided to you during enrollment or in written communications regarding your specific course offering are incorporated into these Terms.

If no separate policy has been provided and you have a question about a cancellation, missed lesson, or refund, please contact ARC before enrollment for clarification.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

9. Course Materials and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, ARC lesson materials, frameworks, worksheets, passages created for ARC, slides, instructional explanations, graphics, exercises, course structure, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Advanced Reading Course.

Enrollment gives the student and parent or guardian a limited, personal, noncommercial right to use course materials for the student’s own educational participation.

Course materials may not be:

• reproduced for distribution;
• sold;
• publicly posted;
• uploaded to public websites;
• shared with tutoring businesses or other commercial services;
• republished;
• used to create competing instructional products;
• distributed to people who are not enrolled or otherwise authorized to receive them;

unless written permission has been provided.

10. Recording Lessons

Students and parents may not record, publish, livestream, or distribute live lessons without prior permission.

ARC may not record a lesson for promotional or public use without obtaining any permissions that are legally required.

11. Third-Party Services

The website or course may use third-party services for functions such as:

• online forms;
• video conferencing;
• scheduling;
• communications;
• website hosting;
• analytics;
• payment processing.

Use of those services may also be subject to the provider’s own terms and privacy policies.

12. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep information on the website accurate and current.

However, course dates, availability, prices, curriculum descriptions, technology, and other details may occasionally change.

If there is a conflict between general website information and specific written enrollment terms provided for a particular course, the specific enrollment terms will control for that enrollment.

13. Acceptable Use of the Website

You may not use the website to:

• interfere with website operation or security;
• attempt unauthorized access to systems or information;
• submit fraudulent or misleading information;
• infringe intellectual-property rights;
• engage in unlawful activity;
